An authentic “vintage bottle”, the Bourgogne 1859 reproduces the original shape of the Burgundy bottle. The same generous proportions, the same slightly asymmetric shoulders, same type of finish, and above all the same very deep punt with slim smooth lines – the Bourgogne 1859 scrupulously retains all these characteristics. The only functional concession in terms of the original shape is the height of the neck: longer and more cylindrical, this neck shape improves the quality of corking and makes it easier to use long corks for wines that require a long aging time.
